Detroit

If the Lions are looking to trade down from that No. 7 pick, they may need to ease up on what they’re asking for in return, at least that seems to be a general feeling.

In a tweet from CBS Sports’ Jason La Canfora, there has been a “lot of action centered around 7th and 8th overall picks” but that the Lions asking price has been too steep.

At one point it was rumored Detroit was looking to trade up for the No. 4 with Atlanta but were put off by the Falcons’ big requests in return.

Obviously, though demands could very well be tempered as tonight’s draft gets closer which could very well be the case for Detroit and the No. 7 pick. At that same time too though the price could go up depending on how the chips ahead of them fall and who is still on the board.

The unknown for the Lions is very real this season in terms of the new regime and Detroit not really being connected to any one player or players in this draft.
