Well the day has finally come where Ndamukong Suh signs his contract. He missed three days of practice but there should be no reason now that Suh can’t go full force, especially since the man is getting $68 million with $40 million guaranteed over the next five years.
When I look at this contract, it seems pretty pointless that there was even a holdout because he got exactly what he deserves. The money that is right in the middle of first overall pick Sam Bradford ($50 million guaranteed) and third overall pick Gerald McCoy ($35 million guaranteed). All of us Lions fans should be excited to see him on the field as he should make an impact because he was considered the best player drafted.
I think after all of this, we can say that he’s got to step up big on the practice field and in our first preseason game come August 14th against the Pittsburgh Steelers. I wish Suh and the Lions the best of luck.
