Lions

Looking to replace DeAndre Levy the Lions selected Florida inside linebacker Jarrad Davis with he 21st overall pick in the NFL Draft.

Davis is an excellent tackler, has a high motor and can really play any of the linebacker positions. However he doesn’t have a ton of ability to get to the quarterback which is something the Lions should have been shooting for at this spot.

Davis is a guy that’ll help the Lions this season and they certainly needed help on defensive side of the ball. However the inside linebacker spot was probably not the first position on D they should have addressed.

It’s not a bad pick for Bob Quinn but they could’ve done better. Especially with some of the other guys on the board.
