It looks as though the Pistons search for a head coach may be coming to an end.

According to According to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports via league sources the Pistons appear ready to offer former Nets head coach and Celtics assistant coach Lawrence Frank a deal within the next 24-36 hours.

Frank went 225-241 in 6 1/2 seasons as coach of the New Jersey Nets. He was fired by New Jersey in November 2009 after the team started that season 0-16. He was an assistant for the Boston Celtics last season.

The coaching search for the Pistons seemingly came down to two candidates in Mike Woodson and Frank. Things may have become a little more clearer in terms of who the Pistons were going with after Woodson was in line to interview for the vacant Timberwolves head coaching job.
