Nothing surprising here. The general thought was Jameson Williams wasn’t going to be available until November for the Lions. Nonetheless, this confirms he’ll be out for at least the first four games to start the season. Either way, the good news is Williams hasn’t suffered any setbacks during training camp which is all you can really hope for at this given time.

Joining Williams though on the reserve list are Romeo Okwara, FB Jason Cabinda, and rookie DL Josh Paschal who all will also miss at least the first four games of the season according to Pelissero.
