The odds are certainly stacked up against the Red Wings since dropping Game 3 of the Western Conference Semi’s to San Jose last night 4-3 in OT. This is especially the case since only a handful of teams in the NHL along with the NBA and MLB have ever recovered from a 3-0 deficit.

Detroit Lions head coach Jim Schwartz is also no stranger to having the odds stacked against him and his team. After the Lions started last season by going 2-10 they were able to finish the season on a very positive note by winning four straight with one of those wins coming against the eventual Super Bowl Champion Green Bay Packers. With that said Schwartz is a firm believer that the Wings can recover from this tremendous hole they’ve dug themselves into.

Here is what he had to say on his Twitter page…

“If the Lions can win four in a row, I know the Wings can too. Let’s go Red Wings!”

At this point it’s one game at a time. Go Wings!
