Western Michigan is starting to stock up on Illinois recruits.
According to Graham Couch of the Kalamazoo Gazette, 6-8 power forward Darius Paul, teammate of AAU’s Charles Harris has verbally committed to attend Western Michigan.
“It’s great,” Harris said Monday night. “Hopefully we can be roommates. He’s a great friend of mine. Our games complement each other well.”
In addition to being the sixth member of the 2012 recruiting class for Western, Darius Paul is the brother to University of Illinois guard Brandon Paul.
Couch writes that Darius Paul is a skilled big man with high-major talent, but his inconsistent motor was enough to keep the big schools away.
