Michigan State heads into the 2011 season with plenty of strengths as they try to defend the Big Ten Championship. One area of concern however for the Spartans this season is the offensive line that has developed some injury problems during fall camp.

In a way though injuries have become an equalizer of sorts as Blake Treadwell has been named Michigan State’s starting center due to an ankle injury to Travis Jackson. This is according to Dana Gauruder of CBS Sports.com.

Gaurunder further mentions that Skyler Burkland has been named as the teams starting right tackle.
