Artur Sitkowski isn’t venturing too far away from Rutgers after entering the transfer portal for the second time in his college career.

According to Sitkowski’s Twitter, the former Scarlett Knights QB will head to Illinois for the 2021 season joining Isaiah Williams and Brandon Peters, who will return for his sixth year of eligibility this upcoming campaign.

The former four-star QB recruit had a rollercoaster stint with Rutgers being named the starting quarterback for the Scarlett Knights his freshman season. However, Sitkowski’s freshman season saw the QB complete just 49.4 percent of his passes while throwing for 1,158 yards with four touchdowns and 18 interceptions. Sitkowski showed improvement in 2019 before redshirting the rest of the season as head coach Chris Ash and offensive coordinator John McNulty were axed after just four games.

Sitkowski’s first go around with the transfer portal came during that 2019 season where he eventually decided to stick around after the hiring of Greg Schiano.
