Yankees manager Aaron Boone has earned himself a one-game ban and fined an undisclosed amount for recent conduct towards umpires according to MLB Network’s Bryan Hoch.

Boone will serve the suspension tonight when the Yankees face the Padres in the Bronx which comes in the wake of his fourth ejection of the season Thursday against the Orioles.

But despite Boone’s seemingly growing rep with Major League umpires, the Yankees skipper believes he’s being treated fairly. Or he’s simply not looking to write any further checks to the MLB.

The bigger question from here on out though is when are umpires going to be held accountable for shitty performances? It’s not like last night’s calls documented by the aforementioned video on Baltimore are any kind of an outlier.
