The New England Patriots have announced that they’re releasing Antonio Brown amid sexual assault allegations against the veteran wide receiver.

In addition to the sexual assault allegations that the NFL continues to investigate, AB’s release also comes after an SI.com report that detailed several ‘intimidating’ text messages sent by Brown to the accuser.

Furthermore the text messages above were from a second woman who came forward this week accusing Brown of sexual harassment. The first women – Britney Taylor who was a former trainer at Central Michigan where she first had contact with Brown – met with NFL investigators this past Monday.

The League has yet to determine any punishment for AB however you’d have to assume something is probably coming considering the actions the Patriots took today.

In any sense, it’s hard to imagine teams lining up to sign Brown at this point who continues to look like an even bigger scumbag with each passing day. Especially since the Patriots are always that team who have zero hesitations to take on cancers like Brown so the presumption has to be whatever the NFL has gathered on AB has to be pretty bad.
