After last weekend’s clown show in Dallas, fans had the luxury of having Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford mic’d up during the whole reversed PI call in the fourth quarter which eventually helped lead to Detroit’s demise. But by judging from the quotes that were released yesterday of the audio that aired at 9PM ET on Showtime during Inside the NFL you’d think Stafford was ready to castrate a zebra and put their heads above his fireplace. The general consensus among many though after watching and hearing the audio of Stafford is confusion as to why the hell a pretty obvious PI call would be reversed?
I’m sure we all were hoping for the f-bombs in a sense but like most of us, Stafford was mostly trying to understand any kind of logical explanation for what had just happened.
