Lions defensive end Kyle Vanden Bosch sat out practice on Wednesday as the team prepares for their season opener against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

According to Philip Zaroo of Mlive.com, the team did welcome several new additions to the practice squad, including former Wolverine cornerback Donovan Warren who was cut by the Steelers on Sunday.

Warren signed as an undrafted free agent with the New York Jets in 2010 and spent some time with their practice squad before signing with the Steelers for the 2010-11 regular season.
