Could Darius Slay be the next Lions player on his way out?

After parting ways with Quandre Diggs last week and Slay’s outspoken disillusionment with the move it would seem no one is really safe in that Lions locker room.

And the Eagles may try and take advantage.

According to ESPN’s Chris Mortensen on SportsCenter Monday, despite the heavy price tag for Slay, the Eagles are still going to “take a shot” on the starting corner.

“They’re taking a shot at Darius Slay of the Lions, but the price tag on Slay is very, very high”.

Due to high price, the fact that Chris Harris of the Broncos is going to be available, and the Lions winning last Sunday it’s hard to see Detroit actually pushing the button on a Slay trade. Especially when you consider how much thinner they got in their secondary after the weekend.
