With running back depth now a big problem for the Cardinals, Arizona pulled the trigger on acquiring Kenyan Drake from the Miami Dolphins.

Going the other way in the deal is a conditional 2020 6th round draft pick (that could become a 5th) according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

Arizona’s need for a running back escalated this past Sunday when Chase Edmonds went down with a hamstring injury. This was compiled with starter David Johnson already being on the shelf due to an ankle injury which is expected to sideline him at least this upcoming week.

With all that in mind, Drake should be in line for a busy week learning the Arizona playbook as he’s set for a massive amount of touches this Thursday against San Francisco.
