Vincent Goodwill of the Detroit News writes that Pistons veteran forward would be open to a trade however only if it’s to the right situation.

“It would be something I’d definitely look at,” Prince said after the Pistons’ 115-109 overtime win against Indiana on Wednesday at The Palace. “Who wouldn’t want be in that situation, to have an opportunity to play for another championship?”

With the trade deadline in the NBA coming up next week, Prince, who is playing some of his best basketball this season would certainly be a welcome addition to a team in the hunt for an NBA title.

“I don’t think about it at all,” Prince said. “Either way, there’s only so many games until the end of the season.

“I’m not in the situation that Rip (Richard Hamilton) is in, or obviously some of the other guys in the league. I think I’ll be here for the rest of the year.”

It was rumored that Prince was generating some interest from Golden State and Dallas who is missing Caron Butler. Another intriguing aspect of Prince is he is on the last year of his contract so teams that do trade for him will not be invested in him for the long run.
