The Sporting News has conducted a midseason poll asking NFL players who they thought was the dirtiest player in the NFL.

SN asked 111 players from 31 teams and like always the players were not allowed to name their team, teammates or head coach for any of their answers.

As it turned out Lions DT Ndamukong Suh was named as the dirtiest player in the NFL by the players poll.
“Suh. After the whistle, he’s throwing guys down, hitting guys, being physical,” one unnamed AFC player said in explaining his vote.
“I’m not necessarily saying dirty but just aggressive and intense,” Arizona Cardinals linebacker Daryl Washington said of his vote for Suh. “I’m on the defensive side of the ball. I like the way he plays. I wouldn’t mind having a guy like that in front of me.”
