Could he finally be growing up or is he simply shutting his mouth after receiving a contract extension prior to the season that gives him much more than he’s worth?

What ever it is Rodney Stuckey hasn’t been quite the headache he’s been in season’s past.

In fact he may finally be becoming… dare it say it… a team player.

How is this the case?

Head coach Lawrence Frank in recent games has started rookie Brandon Knight and veteran Ben Gordan at the guard position with Stuckey coming off the bench.

The amazing thing is Stuckey is fine with whatever Frank wants to do…

“Nah, I don’t really care. If I start or come off the bench, I’m blessed,” Stuckey tells The Detroit News. “Whether I’m the sixth man, seventh man, I don’t worry about that.”

Now there’s no telling how long this will last or if it is simply a honeymoon period for Stuckey and the new coach but nonetheless it’s something positive to take out of what is becoming another very forgettable season.
