A scary scene developed at Ohio State as Cincinnati defensive back Kyriq McDonald collapsed on the field and started convulsing in the middle of a play.
McDonald, a transfer from Alabama, has a history of seizures, his mother told sideline reporter Allison Williams. During the National Championship Game in 2018, he collapsed on the sideline and had to be stretchered away.
Thankfully, McDonald was responsive when he was carted off the field. We’ll have more on his condition if and when it becomes available.
