Despite not playing very well at the moment (and some fans starting to needlessly panic), the Wings likely won’t make any type of move trade wise. Not yet at least.

Despite not making any move in the near future, Red Wings GM Ken Holland hinted to ESPN.com’s Craig Custance he does plan to be aggressive at the trade deadline, if need be. This could potentially mean that the club swaps out their first round pick.

“Maybe. Let’s see,” Holland said, pointing out the Wings are pretty flush with talented prospects as it stands. “We obviously have cap space. I think it’s a different time. I think it’s too early. Let’s see where our team play is at. We’re hoping we’re a playoff team. I’m hoping to be involved in something, but it’s early right now.”
