According to Matt Charboneau of the Detroit News, 2011 MSU RB recruit Onaje Miller has been released of his national intent letter. Michigan State associate athletic director John Lewandowski confirmed this on Monday.

Miller was head coach Mark Dantonio’s first commitment of the 2011 class announcing his decision to attend the University back in February of 2010.

The 5-10, 180lb Miller missed most of his senior season at Lansing Sexton due to an ankle injury. As a junior though he rushed for more than 1,700 yards and scored 26 touchdowns.

According to Scout.com, Miller is ranked as a four star recruit while Rivals.com ranks him as a three star recruit. Despite all that, this is a huge loss for Michigan State.
