Chris Iott of Mlive.com reports that the Detroit Pistons have come to terms on a contract with second round draft pick Terrico White.
Iott says that a source has confirmed that White signed a two year deal with only the first year guaranteed for a league minimum of $475,000 this season.
The Pistons selected White with the 36th pick in the draft in June. The 6-foot-5 combo guard averaged 15.1 points and 4.6 rebounds as a sophomore last season for Ole Miss. He is a great athlete who recorded a vertical leap of 40 inches at the NBA pre-draft camp.
White averaged 9.6 points and 2.0 rebounds in five NBA summer league games. He had 17 points and three assists in the Summer League opener, an 89-84 win over the Los Angeles Lakers.
