Detroit Pistons center Ben Wallace pleaded guilty to two misdemeanor charges of drunken driving and carrying a concealed weapon Tuesday morning.

The charges stem from a September 24th arrest in which Wallace’s Escalade was pulled over at 2:30AM when he wasn’t able to stay in his lane on Long Lake Road.

Upon his arrest, Wallace blew a .14, nearly double the .08 considered intoxicated under Michigan law. An unloaded firearm was also found in the car that is registered to Wallace’s wife. However as part of the plea deal, the weapons charges were dropped.

According to Mike Martindale of the Detroit NewsWallace and his lawyers waived a preliminary hearing in Bloomfield Township District court in favor of the case going directly to circuit court to avoid District Court Judge Kimberley Small.

Small is the same judge that jailed former Michigan basketball standout Jalen Rose on similar charges.

Wallace is scheduled for a December 13th hearing in which he could face 93 days in jail.
