According to Greg Johnson of the Grand Rapids Press, Michigan State football has received a verbal commitment from MacGarrett Kings Jr., a running back/slot receiver from Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

The 5-foot-11, 180 pounds, three-star recruit according to both Rivals.com and Scout.com is considered a running back on Scout however he has indicated that he plans on being a slot receiver. Furthermore Kings sees himself as a “Keshawn Martin type player.”

Johnson writes that Kings selected Michigan State over Louisville, West Virginia and Wisconsin after taking part in a MSU workout camp on Monday in East Lansing.

King scored 30 TD’s in his junior season and would be considered the 11th commitment for the MSU 2012 class.
