Detroit

It sounds like A.J. Hinch becoming the next Tigers manager has been all but finalized.

According to the MLB Network’s Jon Morosi, Detroit is expected to make the Hinch deal official today after talks between the two sides progressed last night.

The agreement is said to be a three-year deal according to Lynn Henning and Chris McCosky of the Detroit News, with the financials not yet disclosed. Jon Heyman of the MLB Network had also tweeted earlier today that Hinch was the “choice” for the Tigers.
