We are just days away from Michigan State opening up their 2011-12 season on an aircraft carrier in San Diego against the University of North Carolina.

The 2011-12 season for the Spartans is a new era of sorts. They enter in the season unranked and revamped. Gone are pieces to a 2010-11 team that tremendously underachieved while new faces bask the program looking to build and grow making Michigan State basketball the program it’s capable of being.

With that said, here are various links highlighting the upcoming Spartan season…

  • In what may be one of the more obvious statements by the Lansing State Journal, they write that if the Spartans find success, the players will jell just fine.
