According to the Detroit News, the Detroit Lions are one of three teams to reject an offer to be on HBO’s reality television series Hard Knocks.

The other two teams to reject HBO were the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Denver Broncos. Adam Schefter reported this Friday on ESPN’s SportsCenter.

The News writes that last season Lions head coach Jim Schwartz said that he wouldn’t like to be part of that show.

“That’s not me,” Schwartz said. “I mean, once that genie’s out of the bottle it’s hard to get that one back in.”

The series takes a look at teams on and off the field during training camp and the preseason. Last season the New York Jets were the highlighted team on the show.
