With rookie RB Mikel Leshoure out for the season with a torn Achilles tendon, the Lions are left with a lot of questions at the backup running back position.

The position to be the backup to starter Jahvid Best is probably the most wide-open out of any other position in camp.

Here is how each of candidates vying for the job did against Cincinnati on Friday night…

Ian Johnson: 9 carries for 21 yards, a 2.3-yard average.

Aaron Brown: 4-21-5.3 (with a 17-yarder).

Jerome Harrison: 6-8-1.3.

Mike Bell: 5-5-1.0

Maurice Morris: Missed the game due to a broken hand.

Head coach Jim Schwartz was hoping that someone would emerge from the pack however this hasn’t happened yet.
