Pepsi and the NFL announced Thursday that Lions rookie DT Ndamukong Suh is the Pepsi NFL Rookie of the Year.

Suh was among five finalists that included Rams QB Sam Bradford, Browns CB Joe Haden, Patriots CB Devin McCourty and Buccaneers WR Mike Williams.

Suh was a monster this season recording 10.0 sacks which led the Lions and all defensive tackles in the NFL. Suh was also able to record 66 total tackles, one interception and one fumble return for a touchdown.
According to the Detroit News, Suh was the first rookie defensive tackle named to the All-Pro team since 1951.
Suh is also up for the AP Defensive Rookie of the Year which will be announced Friday, February 4th.
