Detroit

The Lions could be coming out of Sunday with bigger losses than originally thought.

According to Ian Rapoport, Lions defensive back, C.J. Gardner-Johnson may be out for the rest of the season with a torn pectoral. Fuck…

Detroit already dodged a bullet during training camp when Gardner-Johnson went down with a non-contact injury that ended up being nothing significant. It’s unclear if the Gardner-Johnson and the Lions will once again be able to avoid anything serious in this case, however, the initial reports don’t sound good coming out of a weekend where the injuries are already starting to pile up. Running back David Montgomery is slated to miss at least a couple of weeks with a thigh bruise while James Houston is expected to miss significant time with a fractured ankle.

Shit happens. No team makes it through the season unscathed and it seems like you’re always taking things one week at a time.
