According to the latest ESPN NBA mock draft by Chad Ford, the Detroit Pistons will select Bismack Biyombo with the 8th overall pick.
Here is what Ford had to say about the Pistons by way of the Detroit News…
“We’ve had the Pistons taking (Jonas) Valanciunas the past few weeks, but with Valanciunas now planning on returning to Europe for another year, I don’t think the Pistons will take the chance.”
Ford believes that Sacramento will take UConn’s Kemba Walker with the 7th overall pick leaving the Pistons a choice of Biyombo or Texas forward Tristan Thompson.
Furthermore the News highlights that Michigan guard Darius Morris won’t be drafted until the second round when he is selected 38th overall by the Houston Rockets.
