A bit of a exodus continues to happen with Michigan football as former five-star defensive lineman Aubrey Solomon had decided to transfer from the University according to Brett McMuphy of Stadium

Solomon’s departure from the program marks the ending of a very peculiar relationship between the University and Solomon himself. A highly touted player coming out of high school, Solomon was nationally ranked as the 23rd best prospect in the country and committed to the Wolverines the summer prior to his senior season. He however did a 180 that fall and decommitted from the program before making disparaging towards the program during the Army All-American practices that following January. Solomon would eventually apologize for those remarks and recommit to the University as he took on a pretty prominent role with the team his freshman season but fell off his sophomore campaign.

In all, Solomon according to 247 Sports becomes the eighth player from Michigan’s 2017 class to transfer out. This list includes Deron Irving-Bey (transfer), Drew Singleton (transfer), Kurt Taylor (transfer), Corey Malone-Hatcher (medical), O’maury Samuels (team rules violation), James Hudson (transfer) and JaRaymond Hall (transfer).
