ESPN reported Sunday that the Detroit Pistons have dismissed head coach John Kuester after another dismil year in the Motor City.

However, according to multiple sources, including Vincent Goodwill of the Detroit News no decision has been made regarding the future of John Kuester and a decision may not be announced until new owner Tom Gores officially takes over the team. The deal between Gores and Karen Davidson is expected to be completed this week.

Kuester, who has compiled a poor 57-107 record with Detroit, was in Auburn Hills last week conducting workouts for the upcoming draft.

Kuester is in the third and final year of his contract.
