According to the Associated Press, former Piston Dennis Rodman owes more 
than $42,000 in back taxes to the State of California.
The Detroit News reported that on May 11th California filed a tax lien on Rodman for $42,497 dollars.
There have however been disputing claims regarding this.
Peggy King says “it’s got to be incorrect” given the fact that Rodman received a State refund check for “for $42,000 or $43,000.”
As you may have heard, the Pistons plan to retire Rodman’s #10 during a half time ceremony on April 1st when the team takes on the Chicago Bulls, another former team of Rodman’s.
