After the Lions’ 45-28 Wild Card loss to the New Orleans Saints many of the Detroit players took to Twitter to thank the fans for their support his season.

Some however seemed to try to deflect criticism like CB Alphonso Smith

I will no longer dignify stupidity, I am truly blessed just to be able to play this game… Love you all!!

Another Lions cornerback though may have taken it a little to far.

Aaron Berry, who like many other of the Lions defensive backs, seemed to gotten a little personal with Lions fans. Here is what he had to say (via Justin Rogers of Mlive.com)

Boy is it some funny characters on this here social site called Twitter…

Y’all can go back to being Broke & Miserable…now back to regular scheduled programming…

Berry has since deleted the last tweet. He wrote a quick follow-up.

Now y’all making it seem like I was talking to all the fans in Detroit…boy y’all funny…Have a blessed night!!!

Despite is apparent attempt at a cover-up he probably isn’t going to make many fans among the Lions faithful, especially after he played Saturday night.

Nonetheless, here are the more positive tweets from Lions players following the game…
