If you’re wondering who the best pro team in Detroit is, look no further than Detroit City FC of the NPSL.

Today the LeRouge used a two-goal second half to beat Kalamazoo FC 3-1 as they clinched the Great Lakes Conference and a first-round bye in the NPSL Midwest Region playoffs.

After heading to the half tied up, Laye Diop netted his first goal of the season in the 72′ minute to put City up 2-1. Tommy Buono sealed the win for the Le Rouge scoring in the 90+’.

Detroit City clinched a playoff spot last week with a 3-1 win over Ann Arbor FC. The LeRouge had a 10 match unbeaten streak going before their 3-1 loss to FC Juarez international friendly from Keyworth Stadium this past Wednesday.
