Don’t let the headline fool you. We’re not going to sit here and defend the indefensible considering Jason Garrett should have been gone a long time ago. Yet like everything that is a Jerry Jones Cowboys team, fans must power through the staleness whether it’s at quarterback, head coach or Jones himself.
Anyways, here’s Jason Garrett left hanging as Cowboys players wanted none of his congratulations considering the team was about to hand the New York Jets their first win of the season.
Anyways, as Garrett probably loses the team it’s not like the Cowboys are going to fire the guy at this point. I mean the NFC East is so fucking terrible even at 3-3 Dallas is tied for first place in the division.
I’m guessing this whole thing plays out like this.
The Cowboys continue to be mediocre to bad the rest of the season. They win the NFC East because they still might be the the best team amongst a huge shit show. Jason Garrett is credited to getting the Cowboys to the playoffs while Jerry Jones uses just that as reason enough to bring Garrett back another season.
Wash, rinse and repeat in 2020.
