Despite being involved in a highly publicized car crash in Portland, Oregon, Ndamukong Suh is apparently in good spirits says Lions defensive end Cliff Avril.
“He’s doing fine,” said Avril, who spoke with Suh by phone Tuesday. “We didn’t talk about any of the things you think we talked about, that’s for sure.
“I mean, that’s my guy, we’re friends. So I was just checking to see how he was doing, see what he’s up to. But we didn’t necessarily go into details about anything as far as what y’all want me to talk about.”
Suh was suspended for two games for stomping on the arm of Green Bay guard Evan Dietrich-Smith during the Thanksgiving Day game from Ford Field. Even though it’s a two game suspension by name, it is really a two week suspension given that Suh cannot be at the practice facility and cannot be in any contact with the coaching staff or front office during the duration of the suspension.
