According to a report via WXYZ Detroit, the agent of former Pro Bowler Leonard Davis says the guard will join the Detroit Lions. Davis is a former #2 overall pick in 2001 and has played for the Arizona Cardinals and Dallas Cowboys.
The agency that represents Davis posted the following on their Twitter page…
“REP 1 client and 3-time Pro Bowl offensive guard Leonard Davis is joining the Detroit #Lions.”
Davis began his career in Arizona where he was a guard for three seasons before making the transition over to left tackle. He signed with the Dallas Cowboys as an unrestricted free agent in 2007 where he made three consecutive Pro Bowls.
Davis was released by the Cowboys after the 2010 season but should provide the Lions with some much needed help on the offensive line.
