Outside of the Detroit, the debate continues as to whether or not Lions defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh is a dirty player.
This is especially the case after Roddy White and some other players on the Atlanta Falcons accused Suh and defensive end Cliff Avril of saying some unsavory things about Falcons QB Matt Ryan when he went down with an injury the fourth quarter Sunday.
Again though, for many what Suh did on Sunday is just more justification that he is a dirty player and not worth respecting.
However, ESPN NFC North blogger Kevin Seifert doesn’t see things the way the rest of the NFL might in terms of Suh. First Seifert defines a dirty play “as a blatant attempt outside the rules to injure an opponent.” If that’s the case, Suh can only be guilty of one real dirty play in his NFL career which came during last years preseason game in which he tried to decapitate Browns’ QB Jake Delhomme.
But with that said does one dirty play mean that entire players game is dirty? Of are there other FACTUAL instances of Suh being dirty, not just out of the blue claims which seems more and more likely is what’s coming from Roddy White and the rest of the Atlanta Falcons?
Seifert wants to know and quite frankly so do I!
