Remember Sean Avery? A former NHL forward for the Red Wings, Kings, Stars and New York Rangers who made a name for himself by being a massive asshole on the ice? Well, since his retirement in 2012, one of the great agitators the NHL has ever seen hasn’t eased up on the douchebaggery.
However, instead of tempting Martin Brodeur to take off his skate and stab him with it, Avery now spends his days yelling at people who block the bike lane.
I’m legitimately surprised Avery hasn’t gotten the shit kicked out of him over this. Like if I woke up tomorrow, opened up Twitter and read that former NHLer Sean Avery got a bike pump shoved up his ass for running his mouth off to the wrong person there would be zero astonishment.
