Arguably the biggest tournament in the World will be played in empty arenas across the United States.

Wednesday, the NCAA announced that the men’s and women’s NCAA Tournament would be played with no fans in attendance in an effort to help curb the spread of the coronavirus or COVID-19.

The NCAA has also been looking to regional games as well as the Final Four to smaller venues. NCAA President Mark Emmert commented that it’s possible those regional games would be relocated to smaller venues within the host city while the Final Four could be moved out of Mercedes-Benz Stadium to another venue in Atlanta.

The complete cancellation of the NCAA Tournament also seems to be still on the table for the Association as it continues to monitor the coronavirus situation in the United States.
