Myles Garrett is returning to the NFL.

Wednesday, the Cleveland Browns pass rusher learned that he would have his indefinite suspension lifted a day after meeting with NFL commissioner Roger Goodell and other league officials.

Garrett was suspended by the NFL after an on-field brawl back on November 14 in which he removed the helmet of Steelers quarterback Mason Rudolph and proceeded to hit him over the head with it.

Rudolph escaped injury however, Garrett alleges that the Pittsburgh QB used a racial slur during the incident.

“I know what I heard. Whether my opponent’s comment was born out of frustration or ignorance, I cannot say. But his actions do not excuse my lack of restraint in the moment, and I truly regret the impact this has had on the league, the Browns and our devoted fans,” Garrett said in a statement in November.

To this point, Garrett’s suspension is the longest in NFL history for an on-field incident.
