Dionisio Soldevila of the Associated Press tweets that highly touted Cuban outfielder Yoenis Cespedes has indicated that the Marlins, Cubs, White Sox, Orioles, Indians and Tigers have been the teams showing the most interest in him. In addition to this, Jon Paul Morosi of FOX Sports writes that the Yankees, Phillies, Blue Jays, Rangers and Nationals have also shown some interest in the outfielder as well.

If you want to break it down even further, it still looks as though the Marlins and Tigers are the front-runners for Cespedes given what has been mentioned in recent weeks. Marlins president David Samson recently said that his team will make an aggressive run at Cespedes while Lynn Henning of the Detroit News mentioned that the Tigers could offer in upwards of $50 million dollars for the Cuban defect.

Cespedes is currently playing Winter Ball in the Dominican Republic and didn’t have the best of night’s Thursday. In three at bats he struck out three times.
