Wings’ forward didn’t practice today and will sit out his second game in a row when the Wings take on the Philadelphia Flyers at the Joe on Sunday. According to Ansar Khan of Mlive.com, Eaves is suffering from an infected elbow.

“We thought he’d be ready right away here, but he cut his elbow (Wednesday in Dallas), they stitched him up, there seems to be an infection,” coach Mike Babcock said after practice Saturday at Joe Louis Arena. “They’ll give him some more antibiotics and see how he is tomorrow.”

Zetterberg who is still suffering from a sore back didn’t practice as well but is still going to play tomorrow.

Wings head coach Mike Babcock did mention that he would use the same lineup tomorrow as he did last night.
