After 18 seasons, two Super Bowl victories, 14 Pro Bowl selections, five NFL MVP’s and a number of other accolades, Peyton Manning called it a career after 18 professional seasons.
Manning gave an emotional farewell during an afternoon press conference from Denver amid HGH speculation and sexual assault accusations from his alma mater Tennessee when he was a player there during the late 90’s.
Aside though from the undoubted tarnished legacy to this point, Manning will go down as probably one of the top five greatest quarterbacks to play the game. Hell you may be able to put him top three behind Tom Brady and Joe Montana.
When it comes though to the pure passing aspect of the game, the Papa Johns pitchman may be the best.
