USL Championship has released its slate of home openers to kick off the 2023 season.
The season will begin on March 11 featuring such games as the defending champion San Antonio FC playing host to the Oakland Roots. Meanwhile, Detroit City FC will travel to San Diego for the first time in the Championship to take on the Loyal. At the same time, Orange County SC will welcome the defending Eastern Conference champions Louisville City FC.
The Phoenix Rising will also travel to Charleston to take on 2022 coach of the year Ben Pirmann’s new club in the Battery.
