Theo Epstein officially resigned from the Boston Red Sox Friday to take over the Chicago Cubs as that teams President of baseball operations.
Compensation between Epstein and the Cubs still has to get done however the deal between the two sides is basically done.
Epstein however did say his goodbyes to the Red Sox fans in a full-page ad that appeared in Sunday’s edition of the Boston Globe.
