Last night the Boston Red Sox cemented themselves as one of the best teams in baseball history after their 5-1 victory over the Los Angeles Dodgers to clinch the World Series in five games.

The 119-win Red Sox team continued their regular season dominance by powering their way through the postseason sweeping bitter rival New York in the ALDS before making easy work of the defending champion Houston Astros in five games then making relative easy work of the Dodgers in the Fall Classic. In fact it took Los Angeles that 18-inning marathon and an Ian Kinsler boner at second base to come away with a single win in the best of seven series.

And now with Dave Dombrowski purging Boston’s minor league system for a win now team, the Red Sox are primed to repeat in 2019.

Anyways, here’s Red Sox starter Rick Porcello diving bare ass into a tub of beer in the aftermath.
