The Pistons’ playoff hopes are still alive and the season will all come down to tomorrow night in New York.

Tonight, Detroit managed to erase a 22-point deficit and a four-game losing streak to eek out a 100-93 win over the Memphis Grizzlies as they continued to cling to the eighth and final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference.

Andre Drummond had 20 points and 17 rebounds while Ish Smith matched a season high of 22 points as they did their best to pick up a limited Blake Griffin who managed just five points in 18-plus minutes while still dealing with a left knee injury.

Now it all comes down to the Pistons and Charlotte Hornets after the Heat were eliminated tonight after Detroit’s win.

If the Pistons win tomorrow night against the Knicks in New York, they’re in. If they lose and the Hornets beat the Orlando Magic Detroit is out. It’s that simple.
